For families clearing a parent's home
Sort a home room by room, one photo at a time
Take a photo of a room. Downspring identifies the items it can and suggests an honest range of what each might sell for used. You add, fix or remove the rest. Then you and your family decide, item by item: keep, sell, donate, give to family, or throw away.
Three steps, at your own pace
-
1. Snap
Use your phone's camera. Pick the room if you like. Downspring lists the items it can identify, and you add any it missed.
-
2. Check the Review list
When Downspring is not sure about an item, or it might be valuable, it sets it aside for you to confirm.
-
3. Decide together
One tap per item: Keep, Sell, Donate, Give to Family or Trash. Everyone sees who decided and when.
Honest about value
Every value is a range, from low to high, with a confidence level: high, medium or low. It is a starting point for a conversation, not a price tag.
Estimates, not appraisals. Downspring suggests typical used-resale ranges. For anything that may be valuable, get a qualified appraiser's opinion before you sell or give it away.
See how far you have come
Track the percentage of items decided, room by room. When you are ready, download the whole list as a spreadsheet to share with family, an estate-sale company or an attorney.
